Usually when we think of ADHD, we think of a rambunctious little boy who can’t seem to control himself.
But ADHD is actually a lot more than that. To recognized October as ADHD awareness month, this week on the podcast we talk to Patricia Sung about what it’s like to be a mother who has ADHD.
She shares her story of learning she has ADHD (spoiler alert: her diagnosis came as an adult), learning to manage her life with ADHD, and now learning to mother two children.
Patricia also talks about how we can help those in our world who we maybe suspect have ADHD. What’s supportive and what’s not supportive.
Listening to Patricia talk helped me make sense of some situations I’ve run into with friends.
