Welcome!

If we haven’t met, I’m Katie Axelson.

I make the world a smaller place one story at a time.

When we travel, we get to know people who are different than we are. We hear different perspectives. We understand others’ opinions and the way they see the world.

The world becomes a smaller place.

I’m always down for a trip in real life. I actually spent a year living in Latin America as a nomad (and wrote a book about it called Jesus Shoes).

Most of the time, though, I “travel” in the digital world through Have Hope; Will Travel podcast.

Have Hope; Will Travel is a space for guests to share their stories and perspectives, so we can listen, understand, relate, and grow.

I call Austin, Texas, “home” now but I’m from the Upper Midwest originally.
